Delegates and alternates will serve for a period of one year. Their service expires with each ASDHA House of Delegates
And each is invited to continue their service.
Each delegate represents 10 members of the component
– they represent you

Duties include:

  1. Attend all sessions of the ASDHA House of Delegates, including any special session
  2. Study delegate information provided by the Trustee
  3. Discuss with assigned 10 members the proposed business to be considered at the
    House and give members rationale for the proposals
  4. Initiate business as directed by the vote of component members
  5. Use your best judgment in voting
  6. Be prepared to report to the component on actions taken by the House and be prepared
    to offer rationale for actions of the House
  7. Be familiar with parliamentary procedure
  8. Support component functions
