CADHS delegates and alternate delegates will serve for a period of one year. Their service expires with each ASDHA House of Delegates and each RDH is invited to continue their service annually.  Each delegate represents 10 members of the component.

Delegate duties include:

1. Attend all sessions of the ASDHA House of Delegates, including any special sessions
2. Study delegate information provided by the Trustee prior to the ASDHA House of Delegates
3. Discuss with assigned 10 members the proposed business to be considered at the House of Delegates and provide CADHS members rationales for any proposals to be submitted
4. Initiate business as directed by the vote of component members
5. Utilizing their best judgment in voting
6. Report to the component on actions taken by the ASDHA House of Delegates and being prepared to offer rationale for its’ actions
7. Becoming familiar with parliamentary procedure
8. Support component functions
