1. CADHS first c.e. class of the new year will be Tuesday evening, January 24, 2012, and will feature Dirk Donovan, DMD, MS, a Phoenix periodontist, speaking on Plastic Surgery in Periodontics: How Grafting Procedures Improve Periodontal Health.

Have you ever wondered how connective tissue grafts work for your patients? Come find out why periodontists utilize this procedure to improve and enhance the periodontal health of your patients. Dr. Donovan will relate the history of this surgery, discuss techniques employed to determine when it is needed, and describe the expertise required to perform this procedure. Special instances where a connective tissue graft would benefit a patient will also be presented.
